The  Office of  Information Technology has agreed to add our community preceptors to the eligibility list for access to Duke's Medical Libary services.

The Duke Medical Library has site licenses for many useful tools including MD Consult, a full text, searchable database that includes medical textbooks, journals, guidelines and patient education handouts.  Other resources include Harrison Online, Scientific American Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology Online, and much more.

You will have the same interlibrary loan services as the on campus faculty, at the same cost.  You must have your own internet service provider to take advantage of this service.  You will be able to modify your browser with a proxy setup to introduce you as a Duke patron.  This can be done with instructions we will provide.

The application will require verification by us that you are participating in teaching Duke students.
